good narch warm up though.

who are the favorites for narch midget platinum?

i will go with the following:

moxy velocity
bordercats
excitement 92
black ice 92
coyotes
excitement 91

semis will be excitement 92 vs coyotes and velocity versus bordercats
coyotes over velocity in the finals

... interesting, if you can't beat em join em ... coyotes will be "muddying" the roster a bit in cali by adding a little missouri punch ... heads up.

ok ... how good was that prediction, eh?

if not for the built in bias, i would say pretty good 'cept i meant 91 as opposed to 92.

moxy velocity was clear class above all in this event ... awesome, everyone else were second place contenders.

torhs might as well do away with point streak, scores missing stats all wrong.not very good for a "national" tournament.

torhs need to work out something about the very poor refs, narch won't let their refs work torhs,so the players pay the price.there have been games ruined by the refs at this tourney.

First congrats to Bcats for winning midget AAA.  Just getting in from 24hr shift and waiting on dvds of some of the games to see for myself.  Gonna be tough as no game tapes will be available for narch.  Anyone know someone filming I would be happy to buy some film from cali just give me a shout.

torhs tourney still run like the B nationals ,not the same atmosphere as narch and terrible refs.as far as black ice 92 roster shows who played.

the top four teams have earned their semi final positions.  the only surprise to me is that black ice did not pull through.  from the roster, it looks like black ice 92 was mainly black ice 93 ... still a great team though.

kudos to advanced care for their patient (annoying) box d, they almost upset us in the quarters.

... interesting, advanced care have patience/patient's ... get it ... c'mon, too funny.

Thanks interesting wish I was there.  I wouldnt say Bcats and excitement92(first year kids)  were my favorites to win even if I am pulling that way obviously for reasons of genetic linkage ha.  I just knew from the way the danglers played at the narch regoinal they would be tough.  So much for my assumption, danglers and black ice didnt even make playoffs so I was way off.  In such low scoring and close games this will be well interesting.  I wish I could make it to Cali but someone has to work to pay for this such is my lot in life.  Whats your take on the junior division?  Good job and  Good luck in playoffs.

i missed this one.  our team is there, obviously.  we are playing this one with an ad-hoc roster, but hey, we just dusted the danglers to move on.

i will go with the longshot of oakville and mudcats in the finals.  however, bcats and excite 92 are your favorites and seem to be playing the best mistake free hockey.

very surprised at the low scoring games and more surprised by how few shots there are on net.  i chalk this up to players who play on several teams and have to conserve energy during their midget games.  looks like a slow it down, draw it out affair.

will someone step up and break it open?

i find the roster movements between qualifiers and nationals, well i find them, shall i say ... interesting.  bring it on, see you in cali where the mudyotes will bring it to a new level.
